We will always provide safety advice at the start of any experience, anyone deliberately not adhering to the information provided during the talk will be asked to leave, without compensation. If you miss the safety brief you will not be allowed to go on the walk.
We remind families that although our alpacas are very gentle they must be approached and handled correctly. Alpacas may kick, so please be aware of their hind legs, we will not accept responsibility for any injuries occurred.
Age Restrictions - please take the time to read our age restrictions before booking your alpaca walk experience. Failure to comply with these restrictions on the day will result in refusal and no refund will be given.
Children must be over 12 years old to walk an alpaca on their own, although children aged 8 to 11 may accompany the walk providing that each child is accompanied by an adult walking an alpaca. A maximum of one additional person may accompany each alpaca, please note spectator numbers are currently limited due to our covid safety plan.
Health - It is important at the time of booking that we know if any of those walking with us have any health limitations or issues we should be aware of.
Our farm is on hilly land so sensible footwear is a must. Clothing should be appropriate for the conditions but please avoid anything that might flap in the wind, blowing clothes can startle your alpaca.
Dogs - We love dogs but unfortunately we are unable to allow any dogs on the alpaca walk or on-site at the farm.
Cancellation Policy
We need at least 48 hours notice if you cancel an experience, you will then have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Cancellations under 48 hours cannot be rescheduled and will not be subject to refund except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Gainne Mor Alpacas.
Waiver and Release
I Understand that Gainne Mor Alpacas is a working farm with attending internet risks and I hereby release and discharge the farm, it's owners, employees, volunteers and ajoining land owners from any and all liability from accident, injury, theft or damages that may be sustained by me while I am visiting the farm. I further agree not to sue the farm, it's owners, employees, volunteers and ajoining land owners from any liability arising from accident or injury while visiting the farm. I agree to obey all safety signs and to stay in areas where assigned and not to enter areas off limit to visitors. This waiver shall continue for all guests that I purchased tickets for to participate in farm activities.
