This activity is for people of any age and ideal for children who are not able to go on our walking experiences. The Meet and Greet Experience lasts approximately an hour where you spend time hand feeding the girls while getting to know their personalities. Alpacas are not only beautiful animals they are also naturally inquisitive of children to. If you come in late July you might also be lucky enough to see the baby Cria too.
We start off by learning a bit about these wonderful animals and why they are a perfect fit for us and our farm. You will then have the opportunity to see the alpacas up close and learn first hand why alpaca fibre is known as "Fibre of The Gods" as you walk amongst our herd. You will also get to see the raw fleece afterwards and see the beautiful products they produce.
If you would like to interact and feed the alpacas please book into a Meet and Greet session. When you make a booking it will be a private for your group as part of our Covid safety programme. We love giving our guests a personal experience with lots of time to interact with our alpacas.
Make sure you bring your camera as these adorable animals are extremely photogenic and it’s a chance to create some memories that will always bring a smile to your face!
